Carlos Velazquez Obituary

Carlos passed in peace at the age of 85. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Irma Velazquez. Loving father of Lisa Sarmiento and son-in-law Ricardo Sarmiento, Jr. Proud grandfather of Christopher Sarmiento.

Carlos will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a quiet man. He was a great father and grandfather who was selfless with his time and unconditional love. He was hard-working and dedicated to everything he set his mind to. He was an avid enthusiast of cars, gardening, and home repairs. He was a talented and creative home handy man. He love the challenges of a "fixer-upper". He enjoyed watching baseball, boxing, and old comedies. He was definitely a homebody by nature. Loved listening to music, particularly Latin, Country, and the "oldies". He would enjoy dabbling and "playing" musical instruments.

Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven with our beautiful mom watching over us.
