Robert Bond Obituary

Robert Edward “Ed” Bond, a proud father, grandfather, and Navy Veteran, passed away Sunday, July 20th, 2025 surrounded by love. Known to family and friends simply as Ed, he served his country with honor in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1968. After his service, Ed built a hardworking life in the automobile industry, where his natural charm, wit, and generosity made him a friend to many.

Ed had a lifelong love for the outdoors. In his younger years, he could often be found camping, fishing, or simply enjoying the peace of nature. Later in his life, he made his home in Forida, where he continued to embrace the things, he loved most. He had an incredible knack for fixing things-always finding inventive, hands-on solutions no matter what the challenge. A creative spirit, with a deep artistic talent, Ed also had a passion for ancient cultures, science fiction, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. He was a devoted animal lover who shared a special bond with his dogs. His warmth, humor, and big-hearted nature made him unforgettable. Ed lived with charisma and kindness, and his memory will live on in the stories, smiles, and love he leaves behind.
